Nigerian-born Danish forward, Chido Obi-Martin, has broken his silence on his move to Manchester United from Arsenal.
Chido Obi-Martin took to his Instagram page on Saturday to express his excitement over the completion of his move to the Old Trafford side.
The 16-year-old Danmark youth international posted a series of images capturing the significant moment of signing his contract with Manchester United.
Among these images was a heartwarming picture of him as a young child proudly wearing a Manchester United jersey, signifying his deep-rooted connection with his new club.
Note that Obi-Martin’s decision to part ways with Arsenal in the summer came after an impressive run in the Under-18 Premier League, where he netted 28 goals.
Despite the efforts of Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, to retain the promising striker, Obi-Martin ultimately chose to embark on a new chapter with Manchester United.
After the Red Devils finally succeeded in acquiring the services of Chido Obi-Martin, the club had to delay his official announcement for weeks due to the legal aspect of the deal.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the move, Obi-Martin stated, “I am very happy to have signed with this amazing club. It’s time to focus and work towards achieving all my dreams. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported me on this incredible journey.”
