The head coach of Ikorodu City, Bright Ozebagbe, acknowledges that there is pressure to achieve success with the newly promoted club.
He emphasized that the team is staying focused on their targets in the NPFL this season despite the pressure.
“Of course, every coach is under pressure, every game you go into comes with pressure, and again, this is football. The pressure comes with the job,” Ozebagbe said.
“We stay focused, we have a target for the season, the pressure is normal, it comes with the job.”

Kazeem Ogunleye To Receive Extra Punishment
Fidelis Ilechukwu, the technical adviser of Rangers, is not happy over the red card his club’s midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye received in the game against Ikorodu City.
Ilechukwu expressed disappointment in Ogunleye’s unsportsmanlike conduct and emphasized the importance of discipline.
“I’m so sad about it. Sometimes, if you are not disciplined, you pay a big price for it,” Ilechukwu said.
“We won’t only leave Ogunleye out; we are going to punish him; we all know the referee’s decision is final; that is what we have been telling the players.”
